We're seeking a Database Administrator / Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain infrastructure for data acquisition, storage, and processing. Key responsibilities include developing data pipelines, warehouses, and ETL processes, ensuring data security and integrity, monitoring database performance, and implementing data governance frameworks. You'll work with advanced data modeling techniques, create reliable data pipelines, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Requirements include 6+ years of Data Engineer experience, proficiency in Python, Apache Airflow, and DBT, advanced SQL skills, and cloud experience. A background in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Experience with Snowflake is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities For Database Administrator / Data Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for data acquisition, storage, and processing
- Develop robust data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and encryption
- Monitor database performance and address performance issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Lead data governance framework implementation
- Utilize advanced data modeling techniques (DBT preferred)
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Identify and implement internal process improvements
Requirements For Database Administrator / Data Engineer
- 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role working with Data Pipelines, databases, SQL, ETL, Airflow, Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience in Python (a must)
- Experience in Apache Airflow (a must)
- Experience in DBT for data transformation (a must)
- Experience in Snowflake (significant advantage)
- 3+ years of experience in Advanced SQL
- 3+ years of experience in public cloud (AWS or Similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field
