Software Development Engineer - II (Web)

LivePerson, the global leader in enterprise conversations, is seeking a Software Development Engineer - II (Web) to join their team in Hyderabad, India, with remote work options. This role is crucial in transforming analog phone calls between brands and consumers to digital interactions on the LiveEngage platform.

As a Software Development Engineer - II, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing significant portions of product development, maintaining and enhancing web applications, and working closely with UX teams and Product Management. You'll be at the forefront of creating optimal user experiences for customers, developing technical specifications, and keeping up with industry standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in client-side architecture and experience building large-scale, high-performance web applications. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (especially AngularJS, Angular 8.x, VueJs & ReactJS) is essential. Experience with CSS preprocessors, data visualization libraries, and build tools is also required.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience building successful web applications in production. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team are crucial for this role.
