Software Development Engineer - II (Web)

As a Software Development Engineer - II (Web) at LivePerson, you'll join a highly outstanding team within a fast-paced and successful organization. Our goal is to transform 268 billion analogue phone calls between brands and consumers to digital on the LiveEngage platform over the next three years.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning the design and implementation of significant portions of product development
• Maintaining and enhancing existing web applications
• Coordinating with engineers to integrate backend APIs
• Working closely with UX teams and Product Management to define and build optimal user experiences
• Developing technical specifications, documentation, and assistance tools
• Keeping an eye on industry standards and best practices
• Supporting customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building successful web applications in production
• Deep knowledge of client-side architecture and experience in building large-scale, high-performance web applications
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Angular 8.x, VueJs & ReactJS)
• Experience with CSS preprocessors, data visualization libraries, and build tools
• Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git
• Knowledge of scalability design principles and user experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
