Software Development Engineer in Test - II (Performance & Load + Automation)

LivePerson (NASDAQ: LPSN) is the global leader in enterprise conversations. We're seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) II specializing in Performance & Load Testing and Automation to join our team in Hyderabad, India (Remote).

As an SDET II, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by developing and executing exploratory and automated tests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing system requirements and providing timely feedback
• Creating comprehensive test plans and cases for System, Resiliency, and Performance verification
• Designing and executing automation scripts using open-source tools
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs
• Performing regression testing and investigating non-conforming software
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Monitoring quality assurance metrics

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in Java/Javascript
• Experience with performance, resiliency, and security testing
• Familiarity with tools like Chaos Monkey, JMeter, and NodeJS
• Experience testing SPA and REST-based APIs in microservices-based software
• Knowledge of CI/CD and experience with Jenkins or similar tools
• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
