Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Python/Azure)

As a Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Python/Azure), you will:

• Lead development efforts for LocalStack's Azure emulator
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement features
• Architect and implement high-performance local cloud service emulators
• Contribute to LocalStack's overall architecture and open source ecosystem
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on Python
• Strong hands-on experience with modern Python development
• Expertise in Azure services, APIs, SDKs, and infrastructure
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Active participation in open-source communities
• Experience building developer tools
