Responsibilities For Sr. Water Resources Project Engineer / Project Manager
- Develop project designs in conformance with the latest design standards
- Manage projects within budgetary limitations and staffing
- Stay current on available modeling software and utilize it to efficiently design facilities
- Develop, read, and interpret schematic and construction plans
- Manage the production of drawings in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Perform design quantity computations and checks for developing opinions of probable construction cost
- Work with surveying data provided from survey department
- Apply specification regulations, policies and standards to ensure compliance
- Work with clients to pursue project funding through available funding agencies
- Perform business development activities
Requirements For Sr. Water Resources Project Engineer / Project Manager
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or other applicable engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- 10+ years of experience in this discipline
- Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater design projects
- Experience with project management and accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
