Lochmueller Group, a leading regional engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Water Resources Project Engineer/Project Manager for their growing Water Resources Department in Kansas City, Missouri. Responsibilities For Sr. Water Resources Project Engineer / Project Manager

  • Develop project designs in conformance with the latest design standards
  • Manage projects within budgetary limitations and staffing
  • Stay current on available modeling software and utilize it to efficiently design facilities
  • Develop, read, and interpret schematic and construction plans
  • Manage the production of drawings in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Perform design quantity computations and checks for developing opinions of probable construction cost
  • Work with surveying data provided from survey department
  • Apply specification regulations, policies and standards to ensure compliance
  • Work with clients to pursue project funding through available funding agencies
  • Perform business development activities

Requirements For Sr. Water Resources Project Engineer / Project Manager

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or other applicable engineering field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • 10+ years of experience in this discipline
  • Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater design projects
  • Experience with project management and accounting software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
