Responsibilities For Water Resources Project Engineer III/IV

  • Work as a project engineer and project manager for wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects
  • Supervise work groups including engineers and technicians
  • Ensure project designs conform with latest design specifications
  • Perform design quantity computations and checks
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project documentation and activities
  • Provide mentorship to junior level staff
  • Work with surveying data from survey department
  • Review operational practices for compliance with policies and performance measures

Requirements For Water Resources Project Engineer III/IV

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • 10+ years of experience in this discipline
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and relevant design and modeling software
  • Experience with project management and accounting software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
