Responsibilities For Principal Test Engineer
- Design tests, procedures, controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing systems, tooling, and ground support equipment
- Oversee the execution of test programs and validate test documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with hardware and equipment
- Coordinate with mission managers and operations teams to ensure test programs align with project goals
Requirements For Principal Test Engineer
- At least 10 years of professional experience in aerospace engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Expertise in interpreting engineering documentation
- Extensive knowledge of requirements management and system design
- Experience with environmental tests (thermal, TVAC, EMI, vibration)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
