Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Logicalis Australia, a division of the international IT Solutions Integrator Logicalis Group, is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their Private Cloud Operations Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Logicalis Private Cloud environment, which operates from two data centers and includes services such as IaaS, DPaaS, and DRaaS.

The position is based remotely in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, supporting the Private Cloud infrastructure in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the network environment, which comprises both physical hardware (primarily Dell) and software-defined networking provided by VMware NSX-T.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, performing software/firmware updates, handling customer network requests and incidents, assisting with remote installation of new equipment, and implementing changes to improve performance and reliability. You'll also work closely with project teams on network designs for the Private Cloud environment, develop procedural documentation, manage vulnerabilities, and assist with customer onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of networking experience, with specific expertise in Dell switching, routing protocols, VMware NSX-T, and cloud networking solutions. Experience with Service Now and other ITSM tools is also valuable.
