Logifuture is seeking a Security Engineer to join their cybersecurity team across their international offices. The role focuses on enhancing the company's security posture through implementing, configuring, and maintaining security solutions. The ideal candidate will work with various security tools including SIEM, EDR/AV, and cloud security platforms, while conducting security assessments and code reviews. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a global environment with offices across seven countries, including Malta, UK, Italy, Austria, Serbia, Romania, and UAE. Responsibilities For Information Security Engineer
- Assist infrastructure teams in deploying, configuring, and maintaining security solutions
- Ensure seamless integration of security tools across the company
- Tune and optimize security monitoring solutions
- Act as a security advisor for developers, DevOps, IT, and business teams
- Conduct security code reviews for internal applications
- Perform security assessments on virtualization environments
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Work closely with engineering teams to remediate security risks
- Assist in developing security awareness training
- Train development teams on secure coding practices
- Help improve company security posture and ensure ISO 27001 compliance
- Communicate technical security findings to stakeholders
- Document PoCs and security tests
Requirements For Information Security Engineer
- Experience with SIEM, AV/EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, IAM, WAF, and cloud security services
- Knowledge of container and virtualization environment vulnerabilities
- Experience conducting security code reviews
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles
- Experience in penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK
- Ability to assess third-party software security risks
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Cloud security certifications are a plus
