Senior DevOps Engineer

Loop's DevOps Engineers are crucial for building and maintaining common infrastructure, development patterns, and tooling for all of Loop's applications and engineering teams. They focus on architecting a resilient and secure platform while creating tools that engineers love to use. The role involves leading projects to design and maintain platform components in AWS, ensuring high availability in Kubernetes, optimizing infrastructure with Terraform, and collaborating across the organization. Key responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, troubleshooting complex scenarios, participating in on-call activities, and enabling CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, containerization, and automation tools, with a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. Tech stack: AWS Cloud (EKS, Redis, Aurora, DynamoDB, IAM), Docker, Laravel, Linux, PHP 8.x, Terraform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, Elasticsearch, Teleport

Experience required:

• 7+ years leading, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed infrastructure
• 5+ years using Amazon Web Services
• 4+ years scaling cloud infrastructure (containers or Kubernetes)
• 4+ years of infrastructure as code design and implementation (preference for Terraform)
• Development background to bridge container, infrastructure, and application complexities
• Database Administration experience
• Building development and infrastructure tooling in creative ways
