Responsibilities For Sr Data Engineer - Innovation
- Resolve simple to medium complex problems spanning multiple applications
- Evaluate and facilitate decisions on build versus buy and platform selection
- Lead development of integrated business/enterprise application solutions
- Design and implement solutions following architectural standards
- Ensure comprehensive unit testing and system integration testing
- Define and design data solutions meeting business needs and SLAs
- Work with data governance team on retention, privacy, and security guidelines
- Collaborate with data science team on scaling and deploying models
- Design and lead development of operational and analytical applications
- Participate in infrastructure projects from ideation through implementation
- Analyze and propose design alternatives while assessing risks and tradeoffs
Requirements For Sr Data Engineer - Innovation
- 5 years of experience in data, business intelligence or platform engineering, data warehousing/ETL, or software engineering
- 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving SDLC implementation
- 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming/structure programming, SQL, and scripting
- 3 years of experience in big data technology
- 3 years of experience in cloud-based big data technologies
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience)
