Staff Engineer, Product Search and Ranking

LTK is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead their Product Search and Ranking efforts. The role involves building and scaling a Product Catalog Service, an Exact Product Matching Service, and a Product Search Service. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of e-commerce and product catalog systems, with experience in delivering business value in a high-growth, fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development of critical services for LTK's Creator-Driven Shopping App
• Bringing strong command of Golang, Python, Vector Databases, and embedding technologies
• Designing and building complex systems, architectures, and solutions
• Providing input on engineering and operational excellence
• Identifying and evaluating new technologies and tools
• Solving complex technical challenges and influencing technical direction
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Taking ownership of complex issues and acting as a technical leader

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in distributed systems and software development
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
• Expertise in data storage, processing, and streaming technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools
• Proficiency in optimizing big data applications
