Pipeline Technical Director (PH)

Lucasfilm Animation Ltd., creators of Emmy award-winning "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and other successful animation series, is seeking a Pipeline Technical Director for their San Francisco office. This hybrid role involves developing tools for episodic animation workflow, including Maya and Nuke applications, managing render farm job queues, and serving as the first contact for technical issues. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of CG production experience, strong Python scripting skills, and proficiency with various CG software and operating systems. They will be responsible for maintaining proprietary tools, providing training to artists, and assisting with production-related data management. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for animation technology. Experience with databases, production tracking software, and real-time engines is preferred.
