The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the Lunar System, a next-generation solar and battery energy storage system, while contributing to the broader mission of enabling all-electric homes. You'll be responsible for both technical implementation and customer-facing aspects of the product lifecycle.

Your role will encompass various critical responsibilities, from creating technical documentation and training materials to monitoring fleet performance and providing high-level technical support. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, maintain roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong background in engineering and product development. Responsibilities For Applications Engineer

  • Create and review technical support documentation
  • Train customers on Lunar products through live sessions and training packages
  • Monitor fleet and analyze data for product health
  • Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot field issues
  • Manage RMA processes and root cause analysis
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps
  • Present product value propositions to customers and teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering
  • Manage incident resolution and documentation

Requirements For Applications Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales engineering or application engineering in energy sector
  • Experience with energy products including solar and storage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience working with hardware OEMs
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and DERs
  • Ability to work onsite most days
  • Team management experience
