Senior Data Engineer - Mid Level

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer at LyRise, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our data architecture. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability, integrity, and quality for analytics and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to ingest, transform, and validate data from various sources.
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability to support analytical workloads.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data-related initiatives that drive insights and business value.
• Monitor data quality and implement procedures to improve data accuracy and consistency.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling principles.
• Experience with data visualization tools and understanding of data analytics applications.
