Description For Avionics Software Test Engineer

Mach Industries is a cutting-edge defense manufacturing company backed by $85M in venture funding, focused on building advanced munitions for the United States Department of Defense. As an Avionics Software Test Engineer, you'll be integral to our mission of developing and validating critical defense systems.

The role focuses on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing, where you'll bridge the gap between hardware systems and simulation environments. You'll be responsible for ensuring the performance, functionality, and reliability of vehicle components, sensors, and control systems in real-world conditions. This position offers unique challenges in a mission-critical environment, combining hardware and software expertise.

Working at Mach means joining a small, lean team that ideates, designs, manufactures, and sells cutting-edge weapons systems. You'll collaborate closely with systems engineers, software developers, and various technical teams, ensuring that hardware and simulation models are perfectly synchronized. The role requires strong technical skills in hardware integration, real-time simulation, and system-level testing.

The position offers competitive compensation, including equity grants, health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or robotics who wants to contribute to national defense technology advancement.

The role requires U.S. export control compliance and may involve working with ITAR-controlled information. Join us if you're passionate about defending the American way of life while working on sophisticated defense technology systems.
