Solutions Engineer, Surveying and Mapping

Mach9 is at the forefront of leveraging advanced machine learning and computer vision techniques to transform raw geospatial data into actionable insights to help civil engineers build and maintain infrastructure globally. Our first product, Mach9 Digital Surveyor, helps surveyors automatically extract features from large-scale imagery and 3D datasets over 30x faster than today's manual and labor-intensive drafting workflows, accelerating the development of cost-effective and sustainable transportation and utility infrastructure.

As a Solutions Engineer in Surveying and Mapping, you will:

• Collaborate with customers, product, and engineering teams to assess and suggest new features
• Work with leadership to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development
• Serve as a technical expert during sales presentations and demos
• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable configurations
• Establish Mach9 as a thought leader in the surveying and mapping space
• Lead initiatives to educate and train internal teams on industry trends and product updates
• Facilitate customer onboarding and training on Mach9 Digital Surveyor

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geospatial technology
• Deep experience with surveying and mapping technologies
• Proficiency in LiDAR data processing, CAD with feature extraction, and GIS software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Customer service orientation

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with wide area transportation and utility surveying projects
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification or other relevant certifications
• Prior experience in a sales or technical sales role in the geospatial sector
