Responsibilities For Staff NPI Engineer

  • Design and implement innovative manufacturing solutions for optical display technologies
  • Partner with internal teams to define technology roadmaps and development strategies
  • Develop, prototype, and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and process experimentation
  • Assess and collaborate with vendors and contract manufacturers
  • Design and qualify manufacturing tools and fixtures
  • Establish product readiness strategies
  • Leverage production data for design improvements

Requirements For Staff NPI Engineer

  • 10+ years of experience in NPI and manufacturing engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in developing and deploying automated factory equipment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in DFMA, CPK/MSA, and statistical tools (JMP or MATLAB)
  • Expertise in mechanical design, including Creo
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Design for Six Sigma
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
