Magnet Forensics, a global leader in digital investigative software, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Magnet Review Team. The role focuses on building next-generation digital forensics products that enhance collaboration between agency stakeholders. As part of the Engineering Organization, you'll work on their SaaS REVIEW solution, driving CI/CD best practices, scaling, optimization, and security improvements, including FedRAMP rollout.

The company serves over 4,000 customers in 100+ countries, with offices in Waterloo, Ottawa, Atlanta, Herndon, Westminster, and Singapore. Their solutions play a crucial role in modernizing digital investigations, helping investigators fight crime, protect assets, and guard national security.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with Python/Go and Linux systems, 2+ years with Kubernetes, and strong proficiency in shell scripting, Git, Jenkins, and AWS. You'll be responsible for identifying process improvements, analyzing requirements, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and providing mentorship.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Identify and advocate for improvements across Process, Tools and Architecture
  • Analyze requirements, break down tasks and estimate effort
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot, debug and fix defects
  • Guide best practices for building and maintaining multiple source code projects
