Manager 3, Software Engineering (CRM Platform)

Intuit Mailchimp is seeking an Engineering Leader to lead the Marketing Technology teams, overseeing the front door experience, customer communication, acquisition, and retention technologies. This role involves leading an organization of 30+ team members, including technical leaders and front-line managers who manage 7 to 12 engineers. The ideal candidate will mentor and grow staff, set the vision and success metrics for the organization, and be accountable for critical deliverables that drive customer benefits and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coaching front-line engineering managers, leaders, and senior engineers
• Building an engineering culture with practices and tools that engineers love
• Becoming an expert in customer problems and driving critical initiatives
• Leading the next generation of Automations & Campaign Management experiences
• Collaborating with cross-functional product & design leads
• Refining organizational structures to accelerate strategy and priorities
• Removing roadblocks for the team and organization

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional leaders
• Passion for creating great products, delivering results, and developing leaders
• Ability to balance planning and action, with a bias for speed and excellence
• Commitment to increasing workplace efficiency
