Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer - Alignment

  • Design and development that align and maintain alignment of major components, including design, 3D CAD modeling, engineering analysis, testing, root cause investigation and documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical Engineering, Controls, Manufacturing, and Suppliers for subsystem integration
  • Plan and execute verification and validation testing
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians
  • Stay current on mechanical engineering advancements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer - Alignment

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • 3+ years as a professional mechanical design engineer
  • Experience with full design lifecycles from concept to manufacturing
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical prototyping, assembly, and testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
