Responsibilities For Senior Sales Engineer - Data Center Markets

  • Deliver high-value solutions to customers optimizing cost-effective and robust design solutions
  • Assist sales team in customer calls and contribute to customer interactions during sales cycle
  • Travel to customer sites to perform site walks
  • Create proposal documentation package including site/equipment layout diagrams
  • Interface with internal cross-functional teams
  • Present turnkey project solutions with pricing estimates
  • Deliver cost estimates and supporting documentation for multiple projects
  • Collect market data and present to projects, sales and business development leads
  • Support business development team during contract negotiations
  • Consult for project management during execution and installation

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer - Data Center Markets

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Over 7 years of experience in sales engineering, FEED, applications engineering, cost estimating
  • Experience in distributed energy, solar, batteries, fuel cells, microgrids (plus)
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
  • Understanding of system and component level solutions
  • Experience with proposal development
  • Knowledge of EPC construction practices
  • Understanding of Bill of materials
  • Ability to travel nationally 25% max
