Junior Back-end Software Engineer - Core Engine

As a Junior Back-end Software Engineer in the Core Engine team, you'll:

• Develop & maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
• Write and maintain tests
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of code delivered by the team
• Invest time into learning new things and growing

Our Tech stack includes:

• Back-end: JS/TS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Front-end: Angular
• Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• CI/CD: GitHub, CircleCI
• Monitoring: DataDog

We're looking for someone with at least 1 year of work experience or in the process of completing, or have already completed, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering. You should have basic experience with backend technologies, a solid understanding of relational databases, and hands-on experience with Git. We value enthusiasm for learning new skills and a fascination with distributed systems.

Additional qualifications that are beneficial:

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or any typed language on the back-end
• Experience and familiarity with Docker
• Experience with SQL and other technologies from our stack
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written
