Description For Software Engineer - Full-Stack - Information and Event Management

Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.

As a Software Engineer - Full-Stack focusing on Information and Event Management, you'll work on product areas that are key to our current and future business trajectory, focusing on areas of observability, manageability and auditability. You'll develop features such as the main application dashboard, in-app analytics or cross-service event management, making a real impact for our customers and business alike.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming part of a cross-functional product team
  • Designing and developing solutions to interesting problems, building new product features
  • Improving existing code and infrastructure
  • Owning your code end-to-end, including monitoring, alerting and fixing bugs
  • Writing automated tests and shipping code to production
  • Reviewing and giving feedback on the work of others
  • Growing professionally and helping others grow

Our tech stack includes:

  • Back-end: JS/TS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch
  • Front-end: JS/TS, Angular, React, Web Components, Canvas
  • Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
  • CI/CD: GitHub, CircleCI
  • Monitoring: DataDog

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in developing cloud services (3+ years for mid-level)
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and relational databases
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
  • Experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architectures
  • Strong command of English
