Marshalls PLC, the UK's leading manufacturer of roofing products, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for their Beenham site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team during a period of positive change and expansion. The position involves working in a 42-hour week schedule, including rotating shifts, with attractive overtime rates and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will be an apprentice-trained engineer with NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, bringing expertise in industrial manufacturing environments. The role demands strong PLC programming skills and a thorough understanding of complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining production continuity, conducting both planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Responsibilities For Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

  • Ensure continuous running of production process
  • Eliminate downtime through safe and logical fault finding
  • Maintenance of equipment
  • Perform planned and reactive engineering activities
  • Work on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems
  • Work on 3-shift rotation covering days and nights

Requirements For Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

  • Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Electrical Engineering with 18th Edition qualification
  • Good working knowledge of electrical engineering within heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
  • PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley PLC knowledge preferred)
  • Flexible approach to varying work activities
  • Good understanding of environmental and health and safety regulations
  • Clear passion for engineering with desire to learn and grow
