Site Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing Operations

Marshalls PLC, the UK's leading manufacturer of landscaping products, is seeking a Site Maintenance Engineer for their North Shields facility. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing operations for their protective street furniture and counter-terrorism products division.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for prioritizing engineering activities and ensuring high standards in health, safety, quality, and performance. Working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, you'll collaborate closely with the Site Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies that exceed KPIs.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background with electrical/mechanical qualifications, along with experience in medium to large manufacturing operations. You'll need to demonstrate analytical skills, understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and the ability to both work independently and as part of a team.
