The company has already helped hundreds of thousands of people get a fairer deal on their car insurance and has recently hit profitability.

The Claims Tech Team, which you'll be joining, is distributed between Budapest and London. Their purpose is to revolutionize the claims journey by streamlining the process, reducing costs, enhancing customer experience, and empowering the operational team. They are currently developing a cutting-edge internal Claims Management System (CMS) to handle every aspect of the claims process.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be working on product builds from start to finish, solving challenges to help build fast and scale up. You'll be part of a team that includes designers, data scientists, researchers, and product managers. The role requires a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, working as part of a team, and thriving in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Identifying and resolving UX issues
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process

The tech stack includes TypeScript, CSS-in-JS (Styled Components), React, Redux, Redux Hooks, and other modern state management libraries.

  • Commercial experience with React
  • Familiarity with Redux and container-based state management
  • Familiarity with Typescript
  • Exposure with Jest or Cypress to design and write unit tests and end-to-end tests
  • Understanding of Bugsnag or Sentry to track bugs
  • Eye for design and strong attention to detail
