Marshmallow is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Claims Tech Team in Budapest. The role involves working on a cutting-edge internal Claims Management System (CMS) designed to streamline the claims process from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer, with expertise in React, Redux, and TypeScript. They will participate in technical scoping, estimation, and briefs, work closely with product owners and designers, and help evolve the architecture to optimize product delivery speed. Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Work in a product engineering team enabling efficient automation for tens of thousands of policies
- Participate in technical scoping, estimation and briefs
- Work closely with the team's product owner and product designer
- Help evolve architecture to optimize for product delivery speed
- Participate in setting quarterly team OKRs
- Mentor and support more junior members of the team
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer
- 5+ years experience working as a Frontend Developer
- Commercial experience with React
- Familiarity with Redux and container-based state management
- Familiarity with Typescript
- Exposure with Jest or Cypress to design and write unit tests and end-to-end tests
- Understanding of Bugsnag or Sentry to track bugs
- Eye for design and strong attention to detail
