Master-Works is seeking a GCP Infra Cloud Support Engineer to provide expert-level support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure within client environments. This role combines technical expertise with client relationship management, focusing on maintaining and optimizing GCP infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, implementing best practices, and ensuring high availability of cloud services. They will work with various GCP services, including Compute Engine and Kubernetes Engine, while providing strategic guidance on architecture, security, and cost optimization. This position requires strong technical skills in GCP, Linux/Windows administration, and containerization, combined with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients and Google Cloud teams. Responsibilities For GCP Infra Cloud Support Engineer
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve complex GCP infrastructure incidents
- Monitor and maintain the client's GCP environment, ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and networking components
- Provide proactive guidance on GCP architecture, security, and cost optimization
- Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams
Requirements For GCP Infra Cloud Support Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure services
- Expertise in Linux/Windows server administration
- Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- GCP certifications are highly desired
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (preferred)
- Experience with automation and scripting (preferred)
