Responsibilities For Network Engineer - Cloud

  • Design and deploy secure and scalable network architectures in GCP, including VPCs, subnets, and firewall rules
  • Configure and manage GCP-specific networking services such as Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and Cloud Load Balancing
  • Implement hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises and GCP environments
  • Monitor and maintain network performance
  • Configure and manage DNS, NAT, and IP management within the GCP ecosystem
  • Implement best practices for network redundancy and disaster recovery
  • Ensure compliance with security policies
  • Manage DDoS protection and security measures
  • Optimize network traffic and performance
  • Document network configurations, changes, and best practices

Requirements For Network Engineer - Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1+ year in GCP cloud networking
  • Expertise in Google Cloud networking services
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP) and firewall configurations
  • Proficiency in configuring hybrid cloud connectivity
  • Hands-on experience with SDN in cloud environments
  • Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Network Engineer (preferred)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Knowledge of load balancers, NAT gateways, and traffic shaping in GCP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
