Description For Curriculum Developer (Contract)

MasteryPrep is an educational technology company dedicated to leveling the playing field in education by providing accessible test preparation services. As a Curriculum Developer, you'll play a crucial role in creating engaging educational materials that help students build essential skills and achieve academic success. This is a remote contract position with potential for full-time employment after a 90-day trial period.

The role involves collaborating with educators, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to develop standards-aligned content supporting various learning styles. You'll be responsible for creating digital and print resources, authoring assessments, and refining test preparation strategies. The position requires 6-7 hours per week commitment as a contractor at $40/hour, with potential transition to full-time employment ($50K-$65K annually).

MasteryPrep has a strong track record of growth, being ranked among Inc. 5000 "Fastest Growing Companies" and featured by "Entrepreneur 360." The company has served over one million students since 2012 and increased student outreach by 70% in 2021. Their mission focuses on addressing the fact that nearly 90% of low-income students graduate high school without college-ready ACT or SAT scores.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of educational content authoring experience, subject matter expertise, and strong writing skills. This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success while working with a dedicated team of professionals in a flexible, remote environment.
