Community Evangelist

Mat3ra is seeking an outgoing Community Evangelist with a strong technical background to help develop a vibrant global community around their software platform for designing and discovering new advanced materials and chemicals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in seeding and scaling technical communities, along with a solid foundation in chemistry or materials science. This role focuses on identifying strategic pathways for community growth, preparing relevant content including case studies and technical presentations, and delivering content while measuring KPIs.

As a Community Evangelist, you'll be responsible for planning and organizing marketing activities, communicating with platform users to gather feedback, developing marketing materials, contributing to product design, and working closely with the product team to relay and explain software concepts.

This full-time, permanent position is based in San Francisco, California, and offers a salary range of $100,000 - $140,000, along with 0.25 - 0.75% stock options. The ideal candidate will have an MS or PhD in a relevant field, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to learn and apply new concepts rapidly.
