Senior DevOps Engineer - Developer Experience

Matillion, The Data Productivity Cloud, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Developer Experience team in Hyderabad, India. This role is part of their founding team in their new Hyderabad office, joining their global presence across the UK, US, and Spain. The position focuses on building and managing the culture, tools, and processes that empower developers to be more efficient.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of the Internal Engineering Platform organization, working directly with Software Engineers to enhance their development experience. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing complex processes and tooling, driving Generative AI adoption for Developer Productivity, and serving as a subject matter expert in areas like source control, build processes, and continuous integration & deployment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, strong technical expertise across various programming languages and platforms, and a proven track record in build management and software configuration systems. You'll need to be metrics-driven, with experience in measuring and improving developer productivity using frameworks like DORA metrics.
