Responsibilities For Site Autonomy Engineer

  • Coordinate and implement vehicle upfits to support fleet upgrades
  • Debug electrical and mechanical issues on vehicles
  • Execute on-site sensor calibrations
  • Execute on-site testing of feature improvements
  • Build and maintain local May Mobility mapping assets
  • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles
  • Record and escalate issues and resolutions
  • Test autonomous operation of vehicles
  • Implement hardware changes in the field
  • Perform data acquisition using vehicle sensor suite
  • Coordinate on-site configuration and deployment of autonomous technology
  • Assist in fleet cleanliness and demo readiness

Requirements For Site Autonomy Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Linux computing environments
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics
  • Safety-first approach to work
  • Knowledge of wire harnesses and basic mechanical subsystems
