Responsibilities For Manager of Application Security
- Mentor and lead a global team of application security professionals
- Integrate security tools, standards, and processes into the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
- Partner with development teams to triage and remediate application threats and vulnerabilities
- Create and maintain security documentation and processes
- Provide recommendations on Information Security policies
- Deploy application security tools aligned with OWASP Top 10
- Ensure developers and QA personnel have appropriate security knowledge
- Develop and maintain technical security roadmap
- Support security incident response playbooks
- Establish security governance framework
- Lead security education sessions on latest threats
Requirements For Manager of Application Security
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience with SAST, DAST and SCA
- Leadership experience with IT Security management
- 4+ years of professional experience in Application Security or Application Architecture
- Experience with tools like SonarQube, BurpSuite, Veracode, JFrog Xray, and Snyk
- Knowledge of languages: Java, C#, C++, Visual Basic, Kotlin, Swift, React
