Responsibilities For Ruby on Rails Developer
- Design and develop new features for foodservice management software
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Analyze client requirements to develop functional and technical software requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing application
- Collaborate with development, QA, product and customer support teams
- Supervise and support junior developers
- Present new and innovative ideas
Requirements For Ruby on Rails Developer
- 4+ years of software development experience using Ruby and Rails framework
- Strong insight into Ruby syntax and its nuances
- Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Solid SQL / relational database experience
- Experience working with Redis and Sidekiq
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of Agile development and Scrum practices
- Ability to work as part of a team
