Software Engineer | Widget Framework

Mendix, the leading low-code application development platform, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Widget Framework team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining the framework and APIs used for building widgets in the Mendix platform. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in C# and TypeScript, with experience in React.js, MobX, and HTML/CSS.

As part of the Frontend group, you'll be responsible for creating great end-user experiences from design time to runtime for web, mobile, and augmented reality. Your work will directly impact both Mendix's own widget development and the ability of customers, partners, and the community to build custom components.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing the JavaScript API for web (ReactJS) and native mobile (ReactNative) widgets
• Creating components for easy widget configuration in Studio Pro
• Maintaining and extending the visual language for page creation
• Contributing to the overall improvement of the Mendix platform

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
• Strong skills in C#, TypeScript, and React.js
• Experience with CI/CD and design patterns
• Excellent communication and knowledge-sharing abilities
