Inventory System Support Engineer (m/f/d)

This role focuses on providing essential support and enhancements for the BICS inventory and service assurance system managed by Netcracker. Responsibilities include managing user support tickets, implementing technical fixes, and installing vendor updates. The team also develops PL/SQL scripts for data management, improves system monitoring using Nagios and ELK, and performs vital maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Process user tickets and follow up with vendors
• Install fixes, patches, and new versions
• Develop load scripts in PL/SQL for bulk data loading
• Monitor system health and improve monitoring
• Perform maintenance operations
• Create complex ad-hoc SQL queries and reports

Requirements:

• Experience supporting large third-party OSS systems
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with PL/SQL
• Linux command line interface proficiency
• Web application maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills and systematic approach
• Rapid learning aptitude and willingness to increase knowledge
• Fluency in English
