Senior .NET Software Engineer

MentorMate, a global digital transformation consultancy, is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join their team in Asunción. As part of Tietoevry Create, MentorMate offers opportunities to work on impactful, global projects for recognizable brands. The role requires a strong hands-on developer to participate fully in the software development process using Scrum methodology. The .NET team works on multiple projects varying in scale, complexity, and industry, pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver outstanding software solutions for large enterprise companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on complex state-of-the-art software projects based on C#
• Contributing to the development lifecycle of mature software products
• Designing and developing web APIs
• Working with the latest Microsoft and 3rd party API technologies
• Developing and testing critical system components
• Applying best practices and architectural patterns
• Participating in daily Scrum processes
• Collaborating with global team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET
• 1+ years of experience with Angular
• Strong understanding of coding best practices and design patterns
• Experience in cross-browser web application development
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL database design skills
• Solid experience in unit testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in containerization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with SCRUM methodology
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Responsible and team-oriented
