Merge is seeking a Partner Engineer to join their growing team, focusing on extending their reach across 7 categories in innovative ways. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen, perfect for engineers who can code but are passionate about solving business challenges. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of B2B AI infrastructure through data integration.

The role involves owning the complete lifecycle of API integrations, from strategy to execution, while working closely with various teams including partnerships, engineering, and product. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment, with a strong technical foundation and excellent problem-solving abilities.

As a Partner Engineer at Merge, you'll be instrumental in powering integrations for B2B companies, working with normalized data across key software categories including accounting, HRIS, ATS, CRM, file storage, and ticketing.   • Own the technical strategy and execution lifecycle of integrations with API providers

Requirements For Partner Engineer

  • 1+ years in engineering roles, preferably with startup exposure
  • Strong technical understanding and problem solving
  • Computer Science background or other engineering orientation preferred
  • Prior experience with APIs and integrations is a plus
  • Ability to manage responsibilities across different areas
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bias to action & preference for being hands on
