As a Teamcenter Architect at Meta, you will be responsible for the administration and optimization of Teamcenter, a product lifecycle management (PLM) software solution. Your role will involve managing licenses, roles, permissions, and organizations, as well as performing system administrator activities. You'll be tasked with creating and handling workflows, managing structure and variants, and ensuring best practices in document control processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continuously improving and optimizing system architectural elements for enhanced performance and scalability
  • Creating development databases, developing use cases, and leading testing for feature releases
  • Acting as the point person for Siemens problem resolution and providing Teamcenter training to users
  • Managing NX licenses and integration with Teamcenter
  • Maintaining Teamcenter integrations with CAD Tools (NX, Altium, and AutoCAD)
  • Performing Teamcenter installations, upgrades, patch updates, and BMIDE deployments
  • Customizing Teamcenter using Java, C++, ITK APIs, and Teamcenter SOA services

Responsibilities For Teamcenter Architect

  • Administer Teamcenter, including license control, roles, permissions, and organizations
  • Perform Teamcenter system administrator activities
  • Manage structure and variants
  • Continuously improve and optimize system architectural elements
  • Create development database, develop use and test cases, and lead testing for feature releases
  • Create documents defining processes and procedures for best Teamcenter practices
  • Act as point person for Siemens problem resolution
  • Provide Teamcenter training to new users and guidance to existing project teams
  • Handle NX licenses and integration with Teamcenter
  • Maintain Teamcenter integrations with CAD Tools (NX, Altium and Auto CAD)
  • Perform Teamcenter installations, upgrades, patch updates and BMIDE deployments

Requirements For Teamcenter Architect

Java
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
  • 24 months of experience in hardware and software integration
  • 24 months of experience in computer support and project management
  • 24 months of experience in infrastructure architecture
  • 24 months of experience in analytical and process management skills
  • 24 months of experience in designing, developing, testing/QA, or implementing software applications or systems
  • 24 months of experience in implementation of software, hardware, network, and security requirements
  • 24 months of experience in database administration
  • 24 months of experience in network administration
