ASIC Engineer, EDA Infrastructure

Meta is seeking an experienced ASIC EDA Infrastructure Engineer to join their Infrastructure ASIC organization. This role combines hardware engineering expertise with infrastructure development, focusing on building efficient System on Chip (SoC) and IP solutions for data center applications.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $142,000 to $203,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. As an ASIC Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting various aspects of the EDA infrastructure, including front-end implementation, physical design, and RTL2GDS flows. You'll work on internal tools development, automation improvements, and collaborate with EDA vendors on new technology adoption. The role requires managing EDA licenses, installations, and working closely with infrastructure teams on compute grid and storage management.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience with EDA tools and scripting languages, particularly Python and Tcl. You should possess strong knowledge of ASIC tools and flows, RTL design experience with SystemVerilog, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. Your experience should demonstrate expertise in ASIC EDA infrastructure management and ability to develop solutions for complex design environments.
