Meta is seeking an ASIC Engineer to join their Infrastructure organization's Silicon Engineering team. This role is crucial in developing and supporting innovative ASIC solutions for Meta's data center applications. The position involves working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with various teams including Full Stack Software, Hardware, ASIC Design, Verification, Emulation, and Pre/Post-Silicon Validation teams.
The role requires extensive experience in ASIC engineering, with a focus on the entire silicon lifecycle from architecture to fleet deployment. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing userspace drivers for network functions and AI accelerators, while working closely with design and verification teams to ensure comprehensive testing.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science or engineering, with significant experience in ASIC engineering, C/C++ development, and Linux systems. Knowledge of transport stacks, particularly RDMA, and experience with distributed computing environments are valuable assets.
Meta offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $142,000 to $203,000 per year, plus bonus and equity opportunities. The position is based in either Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX, and offers the chance to work on technology that impacts billions of users worldwide.
