Responsibilities For ASIC Engineer, Networking Architecture

  • Network Interface Card ASIC architecture owner of integrated and discrete NICs
  • Lead the architecture specification for NICs for infrastructure silicon products collaborating with cross-functional partners
  • Provide technical leadership in functional model development to enable networking firmware creation
  • Provide technical leadership in networking cycle approximate model development, performance analysis and correlation with design implementation
  • Define ASIC networking roadmap for future generations of infrastructure AI accelerators
  • Identify and collaborate on performance studies for networks in production topologies

Requirements For ASIC Engineer, Networking Architecture

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience ASIC development experience for enterprise, data-center or hyperscaler use cases
  • Experience in delivering 10G, 100G, 100G+ line rate ethernet or converged ethernet NIC technologies and designs
  • Experience developing acceleration hardware for TCP, UDP, IP, Infiniband, or RDMA technologies
