This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge power/performance optimizations from SOC Architecture to System level.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience who will be instrumental in defining power architecture and managing power for complex disaggregated ASICs. You'll be working with state-of-the-art technology, developing power modeling infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams to optimize design for Meta's workloads.

As an ASIC Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for assessing power/performance tradeoffs, developing architectural simulators, and building power estimation flows at various abstraction levels. The role involves hands-on work with power characterization on silicon and partnership with vendors to drive low-power requirements for SoC interfaces.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in power architecture specification, modeling, and design, along with proficiency in C++/Python and EDA tools. Your expertise in low-power design techniques and understanding of ASIC design processes will be crucial for success in this role.

  • Work with Architecture and Design teams to assess power/performance tradeoffs

Requirements For ASIC Engineer, Power

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience with power arch specification, modeling, and design with C++/Python
  • Experience with EDA tools and scripting languages (Python, Tcl)
