Responsibilities For Component Quality Engineer, Silicon/Packaging

  • Develop, qualify and sustain advanced packaging solutions for Meta silicon products
  • Manage end-to-end quality with suppliers and internal teams
  • Handle Supply Chain and Data Center quality excursion management
  • Develop and implement Supplier quality programs
  • Perform regular audits of Supplier manufacturing facilities
  • Use reliability prediction tools to evaluate product reliability
  • Conduct supplier capability and technology roadmap assessments
  • Review supplier product, process and engineering change notifications

Requirements For Component Quality Engineer, Silicon/Packaging

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years experience in silicon packaging, process development, manufacturing and reliability
  • In-depth understanding of, and experience in, manufacturing and reliability challenges with 2.5D/3D packages
  • Understanding of manufacturing and reliability challenges with interposers, advanced substrates and stacked memories
  • Experience performing design of experiment, root cause analysis and resolving problems
