Responsibilities For Data Center Operations Continuous Improvement Engineer
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving and analytics
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Lean tools and techniques
- Drive organizational change towards proactive data-driven operations
- Mentor and coach others on problem-solving using data analytics
- Develop problem statements and experiments to drive improvement
- Recommend metrics and methods for data collection and analysis
- Create training modules to support SiteOps growth
- Champion SiteOps organizational learning techniques
- Drive operational benchmarking
- Identify and eliminate sources of variation using Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Lead analyses including process mapping, root-cause, and risk assessment
- Facilitate change and lead deployment of Lean approaches
Requirements For Data Center Operations Continuous Improvement Engineer
- BS in engineering, science or related field
- Black Belt Certification or equivalent practice at scale
- Proven data analytics skills including effective use of descriptive statistics and regression analysis
- 10+ years of operations experience in an operations environment
- Comprehensive understanding of Six Sigma quality tools/methods and proficiency with statistical analysis packages
- Understanding of the value and application of Lean Six Sigma
- Demonstrated teaching and coaching skills
- Communication, presentation, conflict resolution and facilitation skills
- Experience performing complex tasks and prioritizing multiple projects
- Experience formulating KPIs and driving improvements
