Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Manage and execute data warehouse plans for products
  • Identify data needs and implement logging requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists
  • Build data expertise and leverage data controls for privacy and security
  • Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations
  • Design, build and launch new ETL processes
  • Support existing processes and implement optimized solutions
  • Define and manage SLA for data sets

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or related field
  • 2 years experience in Data ETL design and implementation
  • Experience in developing and managing data warehousing architecture
  • Schema design and dimensional data modeling expertise
  • Experience in processing and analyzing streaming data
  • Expertise in parsing and mining TBs of unstructured data
  • Experience with Python programming
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with dashboard visualization (Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of MapReduce or MPP systems
  • Experience in CyberSecurity threat analysis and UEBA
