As a Data Scientist at Meta, you will:
- Collect, organize, interpret, and summarize statistical data to contribute to the design and development of Meta products.
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to understand user interactions with consumer and business products.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
- Inform, influence, support, and execute product decisions and product launches.
- Work on projects in various areas including product operations, exploratory analysis, product influence, and data infrastructure.
- Handle problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data by reviewing various factors.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with quantitative analysis, data mining, SQL, Python, statistical software (R, SAS, or Matlab), machine learning techniques, ETL processes, relational databases, and quantitative analysis techniques.
Meta offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $175,420 to $196,900 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
